Lewis is building the new 30,000 square foot ICHS Shoreline Medical & Dental Clinic, scheduled to open in fall of 2014. The facility will include 18 examination rooms, two special procedure rooms, 10 dental operatories, pharmacy, laboratory, community hall, classrooms, exhibition gallery, and outdoor courtyard and garden. As a federally-qualified community health center, the new ICHS Shoreline clinic will serve everyone seeking care regardless of income or insurance status and provide area residents with in-language healthcare services.

Construction began in the fall of 2012 on the Elephant Lands project at the busy Oregon Zoo where more than three million visitors will pass by before its completion in October of 2015. The project includes the expansion of the habitat by more than four acres, a new elephant barn, and an addition and renovation to the Wild Life Live Building. Lewis is also building three new viewing platforms, upgrading the complete infrastructure, and rerouting the historic Zoo Train.

The Center Building is being renovated by Lewis in multiple phases to create a modern new learning commons and student union—the Center for Learning And Student Success. In addition to a new open and airy learning commons, the project will update the food services area, replace the out-of-date bookstore with a new Titan Store, and create a new user-friendly plaza, which will greatly improve access in and around the building. Energy efficient mechanical and electrical systems are contributing to the project’s LEED Silver certification goal.

Lewis is converting a research laboratory building on First Hill into Class A medical offices, including an additional six-story, 64,000 square foot building wing.  Parking capacity is being expanded to 415 spaces below-grade.  Great care is being taken to avoid inconvenience to existing tenants.  We reached the bottom of the excavation for the new wing in August 2014, and are now progressing upward.

Lewis is renovating this building for multiple occupants – including our own new office. The renovation is protecting the building's history, adding structural strength, building a new penthouse level, and incorporating modern systems throughout. Tenants will include other office users as well as retail stores. Lewis is also building out out our own space, including the top existing level plus the penthouse and roof deck.

Lewis is starting construction of this four-story, 211,000 square foot office and technology building next to Gas Works Park overlooking Lake Union. Approximately 314 parking spaces will be included below-grade. The building is organized around a 38-foot wide central outdoor court to promote interaction for the building’s occupants. This court is composed of a series of small roof terraces and walkways that step down towards the lake. NorthEdge is targeting LEED Silver certification.
