The construction team at the Lewis Integrative Science Building is currently working to complete the exterior enclosure system so that interior construction may occur during the wet winter months. 

Demolition Overview: The McGuire Building in Seattle’s Belltown neighborhood will be demolished in 12 to 16 months, beginning April 4, 2011. There are five major phases of demolition:
Several shear walls have been poured in the northeast corner of the site. 
Drilling operation to make way for jet grout columns, used to stabilize the soil underneath the building.
Soft soil displaced during construction of soil stabilization columns.

 

Lane Community College is expanding their presence in downtown Eugene with the construction of a new state-of-the-art academic and housing campus.  The 90,000 square foot LEED Platinum academic building will feature cutting edge technologies including solar hot water, geothermal heating and cooling and a 20,000-gallon rain water harvesting system.
