UO Lorey I. Lokey Laboratories
Eugene, Oregon
26,500 square feet
2006

This project, when completed, will provide the University of Oregon with a new 26,500 square foot nanotechnology and integrated sciences facility. The concrete structure will be located underground, embedded in the natural rock shelf in order to minimize impact of external vibration on the laboratory equipment. The design will also incorporate various strategies to eliminate potential electromagnetic interference on the new equipment. This facility will tie directly into an existing occupied research building and adjacent to two other research buildings all utilizing sensitive equipment during construction.
